On June 23rd the Candlewood Lake Authority (CLA) was joined by a Western Connecticut State University Limnology (Lake Science) class on Candlewood Lake.
CLA remarked, "We had an exciting morning discussing the work the CLA does with the class and conducting some field analysis where the class took chemical profiles of the water and used tow nets to sample for plankton and zebra mussel larvae. We always love working with the next cohort of lake managers and professionals, and look forward to our continued partnership with WestConn! Thanks to Professor Marsicano and the whole class for a great day on the lake!"
