New Milford River Run 5K and Kids' Superhero Sprint on October 1!

The second New Milford River Run 5K, a New Milford RiverFest event, will take participants along a USATF certified course (CT18028JHP) following the Housatonic River on Young's Field Road to Boardman Road and back on Saturday, October 1.

Register to participate HERE.

The course has minimal turns and little elevation change. Come on out and strive for a new personal best while enjoying the beauty and charm of New England on a late fall afternoon (4:30 p.m. start). Walkers are welcome, too. Medals and prizes will be presented on stage at 5:45 p.m. After, grab a bite to eat, listen to live music and enjoy other offerings. iRunCT will provide timing. The Ostomy Foundation is the organizer of the event.

Performance shirts and swag will be given to the first 100 registrants.

This event benefits the Ostomy Foundation, a New Milford 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that mentors, educates, supports and empowers ostomates of all diversions, as well as offers services and guidance to family members, caregivers and members of the medical community.
