Superintendent Dr. John Barile Says No Threats to Brookfield Schools, In Active Communication with Police

In a letter to the school community, Brookfield Public School Superintendent Dr. John Barile reported that there have been multiple reports of school districts around the state receiving unsubstantiated threats regarding school violence. "You may hear the term "swatting" used by the media and law enforcement to describe such activity," he said.

Barile added:
1. There have been no threats directed to Brookfield Public Schools.
2. The police department and schools are in active communication regarding this matter.

"We continue to keep school safety at the forefront of everything that we do. As always, please report anything suspicious directly to the police department."
