Update from the Public Works department:
Debris clean-up work is progressing well. A total of 4,800 cubic yards have been removed from town ROW and delivered to the town brush yard the first 2 days of work. CERES is bringing in additional equipment on Monday and this phase of town ROW debris removal is on schedule. Several local individuals have been hired and trained as FEMA monitors to assist.
The pictures (on Facebook) show the new hires ready for their first day at work and brush yard collection and mulching operations.
