Brookfield Library Closed to Public, Curbside Service Continues

Due to an abundance of caution and being mindful of the rising number of Covid-19 cases in Brookfield, The Brookfield Library building is closed to the public at this time. Curbside service and telephone service will continue.

Short stories are a great way to discover new authors and genres. Teen Services Librarian, Abbey, will read a short story from our teen collection on Instagram Live. (Find the library on Instagram here.)

Teen Mindfulness
January 7
7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Prabha Makayee will lead a guided meditation session for teens 6th - 12th graders and their family members. This program will take place on Zoom. Zoom info will be sent prior to the event. No camera or microphone necessary to participate.

Draw Along with the Giggling Pig
Friday, January 15
4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Grades 6-12
Join Giggling Pig studios online for a draw along on Zoom! The instructor will show you how to draw a winter scene that you can color in with any medium you’d like. For grades 6-12. Registration required, space is limited. Participants will need paper, a pencil and eraser, and something to color with. If you don’t have any of those things available to you please email alynch@gmail.com and we’ll provide it.
