BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETING
 
The next regular Board of Selectmen meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. at Brookfield Town Hall. You may view the attachments to the meeting packet on the Town's website using the Video on Demand link. The meeting is live streamed and posted the following day on the home page in Video on Demand.
 
BOARD OF SELECTMEN PUBLIC HEARINGS
 
Prior to the May 1 meeting the BOS will conduct a Public Hearing at 7:15 p.m. in Meeting Room 133 to hear public comment on an amendment to Ordinance Section 127-7. The amendment would enable the Wetlands Enforcement Officer to make the determination of and approve a permit transfer as an agent duty and establish a $25 fee for the transfer. The BOS will also hear public comment for a proposed Ordinance (new section 127-5) for Land Use Agency Fees to be determined and set by Land Use Boards and Commissions (Inland-Wetlands, Planning, Zoning and Zoning Board of Appeals).
 
ANNUAL TOWN MEETING AND FY 2017-2018 BUDGET REFERENDUM
 
Our Annual Town Meeting for FY 2017/2018 Town and School Operating and Capital Budget is scheduled for Tuesday, May 2, at 7 p.m. in the Brookfield High School Auditorium. The Board of Finance's final budget recommendation will be reviewed. The Budget Referendum recommended date is Tuesday, May 16, to be set at the Annual Town Meeting.
 
CHARTER REVISION COMMISSION
 
At the Board of Selectmen Meeting on May 1, a date for a Public Hearing on the Charter Revision Commission Draft Report will be proposed for Thursday, May 11 at  7 p.m. in Meeting Room 133. The 12-page CRC Draft Report and Recommendations is located in the Town Clerk's office and the Town website.

Meet the Selectmen is held on the last Saturday of each month. Our next Meet and Greet is Saturday, May 27 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. at Brookfield Deli & Catering, 782 Federal Road. Please feel free to stop by with any questions or to let us know what's on your mind.
