The Brookfield Democratic Town Committee today announced that it will host “Brookfield Rocks the Vote,” on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Bandstand at Town Hall, 100 Pocono Rd. Brookfield, CT. This is a free event, and donations are welcome. Proceeds will be used in support of the Brookfield Democratic Town Committee and Dunn Slater 2017.
The event will feature live music from Brookfield favorites Already Gone and Fast Ricky, a 50/50 raffle, “Brookfield Rocks” painting, and meet and greets with the candidates running for office on Row A.
"Knowing who you're picking to make decisions for you is important,” said Selectman Sue Slater, "But getting to know them shouldn't be a chore. Enjoy a nice afternoon with us while you learn why our team is the right team for Brookfield."
