Brookfield Democrats to host 10th annual barbecue

The Brookfield Democratic Town Committee will host its 10th annual barbecue on Sunday, July 22nd from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bandstand at Town Hall, 100 Pocono Rd., Brookfield.

The community is invited to spend time with like-minded families and enjoy the amenities at the Town Hall Bandstand and Kids Kingdom. The food will include hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, and dessert. There will also be raffles, games, and music. The suggested donation per adult is $35 if purchased online or $40 at the door. There is no charge for children under 12.

Residents will have the opportunity for informal conversation with federal, state and local Democratic elected officials and candidates, including Daniel Pearson who is running for State Representative for the 107th District.

“We want to give voters an opportunity to ask questions of all the candidates and to speak with them one-on-one in a casual setting,” said Laura Orban, Chair of the Brookfield Democratic Town Committee.

"It's a perfect time for people to get to know Daniel better, ask him tough questions, and hear what he stands for," Orban continued. "Voters will see that he is a guy who truly walks the talk."
