Brookfield Democrats to host New School Project Meet and Greet

The Brookfield Democratic Town Committee (BDTC) is hosting a New School Project Meet and Greet on Tuesday, February 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Hacienda Don Manuel, 265 Federal Road, Brookfield.

The meet and greet will be an opportunity for residents to learn more about the New School Project in a casual setting. Democratic members from the Boards of Selectmen, Education, and Finance will be in attendance as well as members of the Municipal Building Committee. Community members are invited to attend and ask questions.

Appetizers will be provided. Cash bar available for margaritas, sangria, wine, and beer.

"Spending millions each year to repair buildings that are well past their useful life is penny-wise and pound foolish. This plan has bi-partisan support from the Boards of Education, Selectmen, and Finance, as well as the Planning Commission,” said Brookfield Democratic Town Committee Chair, Laura Orban. “We hope the community will use this opportunity to get answers to any open questions, so we can come together on March 5th, and vote yes to support our students and our town."

The mission of the Brookfield Democrats is to create a positive vision for Brookfield’s future that preserves the vibrancy of Brookfield and enhances opportunities for all residents. Visit www.brookfielddemocrats.org to learn more.
