Republicans Invite Brookfield to October 12 Open House

The Republican Fall Open House has become an Election Season tradition in Brookfield. Once again residents will be treated to a harvest lunch as they hear candidates for local municipal office speak to the issues of greatest concern to Brookfield voters. At the top of the list according to Mel Butow, who’s running for First Selectman, is rising taxes fueled by increased operating expenses in town departments.

Festivities will begin at 11 am at Butow/Shaker Headquarters at 640 Federal Road. The free event includes voter registration, an auction, and children’s activities.
