Brookfield GOP Endorses Candidates
for the November 2021 Municipal Election
The Brookfield Republicans met the evening of Tuesday, July 20th for a Caucus at the Whisconier Middle School to officially endorse their slate of Candidates to run in the November 2021 Municipal Election.
Candidates were interviewed over a 3-month period by the Vacancy Committee. A full slate of Candidates was recommended for the Caucus by the Brookfield Republican Town Committee (BRTC) at a vote on July 6, 2021.
Last night’s Caucus vote by a very excited crowd, officially endorsed the full slate of 22 Candidates.
Headlining the slate is Tara Carr, a 25-yr retired Lieutenant Colonel new to politics, running for First Selectman and Harry Shaker, current Selectman.
This is the first time in the history of the BRTC that a total of 9 (nine) women will be running for office.
