Congratulations to Tara Carr who was sworn in as First Selectman of Brookfield on Friday, December 3 at the Parish Hall of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church.
Carr said, "I took an oath to God that I will faithfully discharge the duties of First Selectman for the Town of Brookfield. Every discussion, every meeting, every negotiation & decision in which I participate will be with a single objective in mind - to make Brookfield better. I will do everything I can to ensure our town is a town of excellence, a town of beauty & a town of mutual respect & cooperation. May our beloved Brookfield be filled with goodness & liberty."
