Brookfield Police Seek Public's Help In Locating Suspect in Hit & Run

The Brookfield Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect in a hit-and-run accident that killed a Brookfield resident on Monday, November 6. 

According to police, on 11/6/17 at approximately 6:10PM a pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle on Sandy Lane, at the intersection with Homestead Lane. The pedestrian, an adult female resident of Brookfield, was killed in the collision. The vehicle that struck her left the scene without stopping. 

The vehicle likely sustained damage to the center and/or left side of the front fender, hood, and windshield.

The vehicle left the scene of the crash at a high rate of speed, traveling eastbound on Sandy Lane to Old Gray's Bridge Road.

Anyone who was in that area, either driving or on foot, who may have seen the fleeing vehicle is asked to call Detective Sergeant Michael O'Brien at the Brookfield Police Department, 203-740-4121.

The name of the victim is currently being withheld at this time.
