Brookfield Police Welcome Officer Travis Kullgren to Department

Congratulations to Brookfield’s newest Police Officer, Travis Kullgren, and Session 371 of the Connecticut Police Academy on their graduation. After 6 months of training at the Connecticut Police Academy, he will begin a 12-week Field Training program.

Travis grew up locally in New Milford. While he was in high school, he was a part of the Newtown Police Explorers. He graduated from New Milford high school in 2016 and chose a path of military service. Less than a month after graduating high school Travis was shipped off to boot camp for the Marine Corps. After four honorable years, several overseas missions, and an immense amount of training, Travis returned home seeking a career in law enforcement. Travis was sworn into the Brookfield Police Department on January 4th, 2021. LT. David Kullgren of the Newtown Police Department had the honor of pinning on his badge.
