On August 27th and 28th Putnam CAP will be holding its Annual School Supply Program distribution. Low-income Putnam County families will receive new backpacks and gift cards to purchase needed supplies. Any
family interested in accessing the program should contact the Putnam CAP office at (845) 278-8021 to register.
Putnam CAP is once again calling upon the generosity of the community to support our school supply program to help ensure that Putnam County’s low-income youth have the supplies they need. Donations of gift cards, in $25.00 denominations, to stores such as Staples, WalMart and Target, and donations of backpacks are needed.
Donations can be dropped off at the CAP office, located at 121 Main Street in Brewster, now through August 16, 2024.
If you would rather not do the shopping, donations can be made online at www.putnamcap.org. One hundred percent of the funding for this program comes from donations, which is why your contribution is so important.
