The Arts Alive Recovery NY Regrant is a new, one-time opportunity to assist artists and arts groups with re-engaging their audiences through live performances and in-person arts programming. Funding is available for organizations and artists planning live public events (between October 1- June 30, 2022) including performances, exhibitions, festivals, showings, etc. Performing arts are a priority but other events with a public component are eligible for consideration.
New applicants are also prioritized. Supported projects must be fully open to the public. Grant awards are determined through a competitive, independent panel process whose goal is to provide financial support for quality arts projects and activities presented by eligible Putnam County not-for-profits and/or individual artists sponsored by not-for-profits. The program exists to support professional fees for artists, marketing/publicity costs, supplies/materials needed for the execution of the project and direct administrative expenses.
Live arts programming must be the driving force of project requests. This program is supported with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Putnam Arts Council. The program can accept a maximum of three applications per organization. The total request per organization for the new Arts Alive Recovery NY Regrants is $2,500. This total includes up to three applications per organization. We encourage all to apply and to share the opportunity with your constituents.
