Reed Library To Re-Open With Window Pick Up Only.

Window Pickup Begins Today!

Beginning Today, June 15th, you can pick up library materials from the sidelight window to the left of the library door. How it works:

  •   Request items exclusively from the Reed Library following these special instructions.
  •   Make a pickup appointment through our on-line calendar.
  •   Pickup is by appointment only.

Walk up to the window at your scheduled pickup time and receive your items.

The Staff has been trained on the best way to provide this service to you safely. Everyone’s safety continues to be an important part of the reopening planning process.

Window pickup is the first of many steps on the road to business-as-usual. Though fully opening our doors is still a-ways down the road, we are looking forward to taking this first step with you.

Beginning this week, hours for phone and pickup service will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10 am to 1 pm and Tuesday, Thursday 5 pm to 7 pm.  Pickup is by appointment only.

 Everyone’s Safety is Important

Everyone’s safety continues to be an important part of the reopening planning process. Please wear a mask when you come to the pickup window and practice social distancing if someone is there before you.

We will be wearing masks when we meet you at the window.  You will receive your materials in a sealed bag. We will wear gloves or sanitize our hands before handling your bag. The items you will be receiving have been quarantined for 72 hours and then handled with sanitized and/or gloved hands before going into the bag. All high touch surfaces in the library are disinfected routinely and access to the building is limited to required staff.

Please put all materials you are returning in the book drop. We will not be able to take them from you at the pickup window.
