National Purple Heart Day 2018 August 7

Please join us for National Purple Heart Day on Tuesday, Aug 7th for an evening ceremony beginning at 7:00pm at Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park, Carmel NY. Putnam County is New York State's FIRST Purple Heart County. Our residents never let us down when it comes to showing love and appreciation for our local veterans and heroes. A brief ceremony will take place at the Purple Heart Monument. All are invited to pay their respects to those that have made the ultimate sacrifice during battle and to thank those that were wounded during their service for their heroic actions.
