The Brewster Fall Festival, organized by the Cultural Arts Coalition, kicks off tomorrow at noon on Main Street in the Village of Brewster. Main Street will be closed at 7AM from Oak Street to the North Main Street / Railroad Avenue intersection and will remain closed to through traffic until 6 pm.
Last year saw a record crowd for this type of event in the Village. The Village of Brewster Police Chief John DeGardo estimated last year's festival crowd to be over 4,500 and organizers expect just as many, if not more, this year as the variety of entertainment, vendors and food trucks offered has increased from last year and the favorable weather forecast for Sunday which is mostly sunny and 75 degrees.
Free parking is available at the Tri-State commuter parking lot located at Park Ave and Morningthorpe Avenue.
The free Putnam County Trolley will take you to Main Street.
