Free Naloxone Training at Brewster FD

On Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM, Senator Pete Harckham in association with the New York State Offices of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and the Brewster Fire Department will present a training program to learn how to administer Naloxone in an emergency situation. The Brewster Fire Department is located at 501 North Main Street, Brewster, NY.

Naloxone is used in opioid overdoses to counteract life-threatening depression of the central nervous system and respiratory system, allowing an overdose victim to breathe normally.
