Happy Life Animal Rescue Announces COVID-19 Protocols for their upcoming adoption events

COVID-19 Protocols for upcoming adoption events.

In the wake of recent announcements from local government officials, taking into consideration recommendations from the CDC, Happy Life Animal Rescue has decided to change the format of our adoption events in the coming weeks.

We understand the concerns of our adopters, volunteers and members of the public and believe there is a way to continue finding homes for the puppies in our care while protecting the community. Our events for the weekend of 3/21 will not be first come, first served.

Any approved adopter who would like to join us this weekend must email us no later than the night before at 9pm to be issued a time slot. Please do not arrive prior to your time slot, you will not be able to meet with any puppies until your appointed time.

Time slots will be issued in the order we receive requests. Any puppies available after Sunday 3/22/20 will be eligible for private meet and greets. Approved adopters can email the rescue to schedule their appointment. Meet and Greets will be handled in the order we receive requests: happylifeanimalrescueapps@gmail.com In this way we can avoid large crowds of people and make sure our volunteers have the space and time they need to follow precautions such as sanitizing areas and proper hand washing between adoptions.

Please be patient with us and understand that our volunteers are working day and night to handle requests and will respond to all inquiries in the order they are received.

Saturday 3/21 at Petsmart Mohegan Lake beginning at 10am. All approved applicants must email the Application Team in order to reserve a time slot.

Our event weekend continues on Sunday 3/22 at Petvalu in Mahopac beginning at 12pm.
If you are an approved applicant who would like to reserve a time slot, please email the Application Team to find out availability
