Library of Congress celebrates 100 years of Women's Right to Vote

The Library of Congress' Janice Ruth, curator of their "Shall Not Be Denied: Women Fight for the Vote" exhibition, will join curators from the National Archives and Records Administration and the Smithsonian’s National Portait Gallery for “Curator’s Cut: An Inside Look at DC’s Suffrage Exhibits.” This free webinar is being hosted by the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission on Wednesday May 28, 202 from 7pm until 8 pm eastern time.

Panelists will explore topics including gaps in the women’s suffrage narrative, relevance of the suffrage movement today, and the role museums and collections play in interpreting this important history. While the live webinar begins at 7pm ET, we will be offering an optional 30 min virtual tour of the 3 exhibits that will be referenced during the program. If you would like to watch those clips, please tune in at 6:30pm ET.
