FREE Music Series in Brewster this Summer 2022!

The Town of Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition (TOSCAC) in Brewster, NY is excited to announce the lineup for the 2022 FREE Outdoor Summer Music Series at Veterans Park Gazebo.

The 7-week music series is Saturday evenings June 11 through July 23rd at 6-8 pm.

BREWSTER SUMMER MUSIC SERIES LINEUP

June 11 -Light Warriors (Global Rock, Funk, Reggae)

June 18 - Fat City Rockers (Rockabilly, Surf, Oldies) 

June 25 - Plåsm (Explorative Progressive, Funk, Improvisation)

July 2 - Real Stormin Norman (Latin, New Orleans Jazz, Boogie Woogie, Blues) 

July 9 - 1/3 of Sophie (Sweet, Funky, Spacey Arrangements)

July 16 - La Pompe Attack (Gypsy, Jazz, Hot Swing Sound)

July 23 - Way Behind the Sun (Traditional & Original Country Music)

Plan to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, picnic dinners, cold beverages, etc. Plans for the 2022 summer music series include joint promotions with local food vendor Country Kitchen for pre-ordered family picnics to go. Any local vendors interested in participating as a pre-ordered picnic basket vendor, should reach out to the series committee at bsms@wbutterfly.net.

Supplementing an Arts Alive Recovery NY Grant, many community-minded businesses donated to the Coalition’s efforts. Sponsoring this event are; Ace Endico, Artis Senior Living in Somers, Carmucci Wealth Management, Casa Fina Warehouse, Examiner Media, Fogbank Weather, HamletHub Brewster, Hear It There, Tamara Lanza State Farm  Insurance, Professional Water Systems, Suburban Carting, Tompkins Mahopac Bank, and the Town of Southeast Rotary and Town of Patterson Rotary.

An appeal for sponsorship is ongoing offering a variety of benefits to both business and individual patrons. If you have not been contacted and would like further information, please reach out to concert organizers at bsms@wbutterfly.net.

Located at the corner of Railroad and Morningthorpe Avenues in Brewster, the park is easily accessed via multiple transportation options including a scenic drive along the East Branch Reservoir along Route 22 North. The location is also a 10-minute drive from exit 10 along Route 684. Concert attendees may also find convenience traveling via MTA Metro-North’s Hudson Line to the Brewster Station, as the gazebo is a 5-minute walk away. Hartransit runs a shuttle bus service for those traveling between Danbury, CT and the Brewster Train Station.

TOSCAC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, dedicated to developing an accessible and affordable performing arts venue and cultural center for the Village of Brewster, the Town of Southeast, and surrounding communities in Putnam, Westchester, Dutchess, and Fairfield counties.
