Bard on the Lake November 24

Saturday, November 24, at 8:00 pm

Director Roger Hendricks Simon along with Blue Horse Director Lora Lee Ecobelli bring the famous Bard back to the Center, this time with live harpsichord music on a period instrument.

New performers weave stories we know into an event where the line between the word and the music grows thinner every day.

Even if you think you know the lovers Romeo and Juliet, the brooding Hamlet, the warlike Macbeth, the passionate Othello, the crazy Measure for Measure, the questionable Merchant of Venice or the imperious Julius Caesar, you have never seen them like this.

FREE TEXTS. Following the performance, complete texts of the plays presented will be available to the first twenty requesters.
