On April 8th, the Solar Eclipse asks everyone to find their center.
Three Planets in Retrograde: It is true. Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn. This month, there will be a new moon in Aries on April 5, and Jupiter will go into retrograde in Sagittarius on April 10. Saturn and Pluto are the outer planets in retrograde. What this means is that this will slow the discovery process down for all.
For everyone, this time is about focus and rebalancing and get ready for a whole new 18-year cycle. Now is the time to begin new or finish old projects—whatever they may be, as the universe is supporting and guiding everyone until October. Metaphorically, April will be a time for all to make your idea, platform—whatever it may be—no matter how difficult —a reality—and see it through until it is a success.
But April will be difficult for some, worse for others. There will be struggles—but in the end, we all rise above, stronger than ever. Who this will impact: Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo. For these signs, it will be about facing the past, personal reflection, finding peace, foundation and love with family and friends.
Aries (March 21-April 20) —Happy birthday Aries! You have some very important decisions to make this month, little Ram—and you cannot do it alone. Listen to family advice when it comes to both personal and financial affairs. Keep your wits about you; stay level-headed. This month, when it comes to business, make sure it is YOU that is in the driver’s seat. If unattached, a prospective mate is attracted to you by your drive and ambition. Your sense of humor helps you to be more persuasive with others.
Taurus (April 21-May 21) —With the three planets in retrograde, you will feel angst the most, this month, but I promise, this too shall pass. There will reflection of the past, and you may want to ignore it, but listen to your inner voice. Remember, this is the season of new beginnings, dear Bull. I recommend you not necessarily forget, but instead, forgive and move on, so you can finally have the peace you deserve.
Gemini (May 22- June 21) —With Jupiter in retrograde this month, for you, my double-trouble sign, this means time for you to embrace your friends, family and loved ones. For you, this month is all about commitment and partnerships. It’s time for a new you. For quite a while, you have been out of touch. Take advantage of this newfound time on your hands and enjoy. At work, you will be rewarded for your efforts—whether in promotion or monetary form.
Cancer (June 22 – July 22) —This month is all about setting goals and abiding by them. You need to look forward, instead of in the past in order to grow and succeed. For career: you can’t get ahead if you are unwilling to do the work, play nicely with others and invest for the long term. It’s also never advisable to loan fellow employees’ money or personal belongings. At home: Take the opportunity to make changes in your home environment. If you have children: if you’re not prepared to give them the time and affection they need, you may face difficulties.
Leo (July 23 – August 23) —Lucky Leo! One of the few signs that the retrograde benefits from this month is you! You will find that while you will suddenly be interested in beginning several new projects and visiting many cities this month, or eve joining a few new clubs, it is key to finish what you start and not to overextend yourself. So, before you begin, think carefully—because what you may start now—whether it’s you and your hubby taking a trip to Greece, or Salsa dancing, learning Mandarin or how to jet ski, you will be doing from now until October.
Virgo (August 24 – September 22) —There is going to be major transformations in store for you this month, both at work and at home. But before you grab the bull by the horns, take a breath, step back and ask yourself, “What do I really want?” Take a minute. Take a few days. Now is the time to take time for you. This month, you are going to need it. Go take a long weekend and visit college friends or family on the coast. Grab the moment, or create your own dream opportunities. You deserve it.
Libra (September 23 – October 22) —This month is all about connections and communications. With Jupiter in retrograde, there are endless possibilities for you—just as long as you are willing to take some risks. There is an opportunity to expand your knowledge (and latent abilities) in the world of innovation and the arts. This new awareness enables your career to take off in unexpected ways; be ready for travel at a moment’s notice. Note that a flexible work routine is best for you. Make room for delays and unexpected changes and be open for new ideas.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21) —Oh, Scorpion. Let it go. “Que Sera Sera.” Whatever will be, will be. It is time that you too, have made your peace with whatever demons that you’ve got in your head. You have so much to give. So many valuable contributions that you have made—and still have yet to make—to the community, to your family, friends, school, and/or and to your career. And there is still much more to be done. Do not let this time get you down. Through creative thinking, and your willingness to change and flow with the tide, you will see there is much success in store for you. Your patience is also crucial. One in authority may expect too much, however you come through with flying colors. Romance thrives.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 22) —April brings you creativity, romance and self-awareness. Take advantage of these gifts. You are generous to a fault, and this has always brought you popularity. But try and focus on being generous with those that warrant it and with yourself. You have many talents. Learn to embrace them. Try also to enjoy this month of the three planet-retrograde and take time for yourself. Do not seek to achieve everything at once. Start gradually, and then build up to where you want to be. This month, you find new love for keeps. Anything is possible this month for you.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 20) —This month, it is all about balancing home and work for you. While you may have leadership skills and the confidence to get things done in the office, you are not your usual self and feeling less self-assured and would much rather be at home. That is A-OK. Your reputation precedes you. You have your friends and family as your support system even if you are not your usual outgoing self. Remember, this month is all about reflection, so think about what it is you want to accomplish. Those that matter most. Where you want to go. May will be here soon enough.
Aquarius (January 21 – February 19) —You’ve always spoken your mind. This month, you will be hard to control. While everyone loves your openness, work to be clear and concise in what you say and how you say it. Remember that whole sticks and stones expression? Words can hurt. A big decision that you have been struggling with, will be made for you, and now, April will be about bringing you clarity, harmony and peace. Now is a great time to write a personal ad or send a romantic note to someone special. You'll think of a totally original way of expressing yourself that will definitely get you noticed.
Pisces (February 20 – March 20)—This month, new opportunities present themselves to you. You will have to decide between two relationships: professional and personal. Before you leap, relocate or do anything extreme, consider how you might be able to marry the two (pun intended). When in doubt, do nothing or go slow. A strong emotional connection may make you feel vulnerable. That is okay. Deal with the feelings, by either slowing that new relationship down or taking a break. This allows you to reflect and figure out what it is you really want. If it is an existing relationship, you may decide you want to take it to the next level. If that is the case, consider planning a small get together with friends and family.
