CHS Graduates signs on the lake

The lawn signs are up along Route 52 and they look amazing! Our Lawn Sign Team of GREAT mom’s were fortunate to be able to work together with our County government to make this happen and to ensure that the signs did not blow away given the winds off of Lake Gleneida. County Executive MaryEllen Odell and Putnam County Veterans Services Director Karl Rohde gave us permission to mount the signs to the flags which are displayed along the Lake in honor of our veterans and service members. The official response from our veterans was heartwarming and, without hesitation, they replied in the affirmative and indicated that they would be honored to stand with our graduates. Mr. Rohde stated that “service members have supported and protected Americans for years, it’s an honor to continue to do so”. On behalf of the Class of 2020 we would like to thank the County and its Veterans Service Agency for their support and assistance in paying tribute to our Carmel High School Senior class during this unprecedented time. We would also like to thank Interim Principal John Fink without whose assistance this would not have been possible!

Congratulations to Carmel High School Class of 2020 – your Community Loves You!
