J. Philip Real Estate Adds Seven New Independent Broker Agents to Putnam County Office

Local Real Estate Brokerage Expects Roster of Licensed Agents to Exceed 100 by Q4
PUTNAM COUNTY, NY (September 19, 2018) -- J. Philip Real Estate of Putnam County announced today that the firm has hired seven new licensed agents to service the agency’s growing client base.
“Despite a scarcity of inventory in Putnam and Westchester, J. Philip Real Estate continues to buck the trend, achieving 5% year over year growth, which puts us about 10% ahead of the curve,” said Jennifer Maher, managing partner, J. Philip Real Estate. “We need more feet on the ground to meet with client demand and our new talent infusion means we can service a broader demographic range, including special needs and those whose first language is other than English.”
“I couldn’t be more excited to start my real estate career with J. Philip,” said Kevin Green, licensed real estate agent, J. Philip Real Estate. “As an individual on the autism spectrum, I’ve had to work hard to correct misconceptions and breakthrough the stigma that exists around autism. Jennifer Maher gave me the opportunity to intern in her office this past year, and I guess my work spoke for itself, because here I am,” Green proudly stated.
Maher says, along with all the new staff, she has big plans for Kevin. “We are in the people and relationship business. As we see a growing need among our client base, we need to show our sensitivity and provide the right team to attend to their unique requirements. Kevin will be a tremendous asset to our company based on his skills, professionalism, and unique compassion and understanding related to the servicing of families with special needs.”
New agents to the firm, include:
Bohumila Kunca -- Bohumila was born in Slovakia (formerly Czechoslovakia) and speaks fluent Slovak, Czech, Polish, and Russian. She moved to the US 25 years ago and settled in Mahopac. Seven years after her arrival, she and her husband started to look for their first home, and that experience inspired her to become a realtor. She has been a licensed agent for 15 years and enjoys membership in the National Association of Realtors, Westchester and Putnam Multiple Listing and NY State Board of Realtors. Her husband’s construction company gives her access to information concerning new upcoming projects and developments. She adds this knowledge to her expertise across many geographic neighborhoods to maximize resale opportunities for clients.
Guiseppina (Josie) Rodriguez – An Italian native and fluent speaker of the language, Josie was raised in the US and graduated with a Business degree from Fordham University. Throughout her corporate career, Josie always held an affinity for homes, believing it is the place where families come together. Josie is an independent broker agent who represents clients in Putnam and Westchester County.
Kevin Green -- Kevin quickly developed an interest in real estate after a year of interning with J. Philip Real Estate’s Putnam County office. He is a young, ambitious realtor who will do whatever it takes to meet his clients’ needs. A background in customer service has taught Kevin how to handle all types of clients. He is an avid sports fan and traveled to Los Angeles with his Special Olympic Unified Basketball Team, where he proudly took home the Gold Medal. Being part of the Special Ed community, Kevin has faced many challenges, but he believes everyone can achieve their goals if they really try. Kevin’s motto is, “Never Give Up”.
Lizette Fluellen – Lizette spent the first 30 years of her life in Cortlandt Manor and recently moved to Wappingers Falls with her husband and three lovely children. She has expansive geographic knowledge as it pertains to real estate properties in Westchester and Dutchess. Lizette attended college where she earned an AAS degree in Education.
Robert Molloy – Robert is a licensed real estate agent who has worked with clients across Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess County, NY, as well as Fairfield, CT. Robert is a seasoned veteran in the Real estate business and a consecutive million dollar producer.
Stephanie Finney -- Stephanie is a licensed realtor, who is focused on giving both sellers and buyers a memorable housing experience. As a property owner and landlord, Stephanie understands the variety of client perspectives that comprise the buying and selling of homes. A lifelong resident of Putnam County, Stephanie has superior area knowledge. She also contributes to her fiancé’s restaurant, where she carves out time to offer managerial support.
