Fifty-four new patrons got library cards at the Kent Library during September, national Library Card sign up month. Many signed up for a raffle to receive a $10.00 Dunkin' Donut certificate. The three winning tickets were picked on Oct 1 by students in the library's Minecraft program, including Max Garelick, assisted by youth services librarian Eric Mahollitz.
"We had three winners in this library card raffle" said Kent Library Director Carol Donick, "But in a larger sense, everyone who uses their library card is a winner. "
