Cancer won’t stop, and neither will we. We stand together, even
when we’re apart. Relay For Life is all about togetherness and community! Even though we cannot currently be face-to-face, we’re committed to fighting cancer head-on. We continue to celebrate people who have been touched by cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action for lifesaving change.
Join us for a day full of cancer fighting during the Relay For Life of Mahopac’s Paint the Town Purple on Saturday, May 1, 2021 starting at 10 am and continue the fight. We are seeking Relay teams, community members, businesses and organizations to get involved in the Relay For Life movement during Paint the Town Purple.
Participate by donating to our boot drive at the intersection of Route 6 and 6N, hosting and/or purchasing luminaria bags at our pop-up luminaria shops around town, and being part of our Blood Drive at the Mahopac Fire Dept. Businesses are encouraged to display purple ribbons and other decorations in their storefronts to show their support and raise awareness for the fight against cancer here in our community.
Purple bows are available for purchase for $5 each at the Mahopac Flower Shop. Please call the shop at 628-2949 to order yours. Please order 1 week prior to the event.

Relay For Life is a movement, a community of like-minded survivors, caregivers, volunteers, and participants who believe that the future can be free from cancer. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, our community is currently connecting in different ways. While our fundraising might look different right now, our passion to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer is unchanged.
