Putnam County's Covid Dashboard Tracker and update for the Week Ending April 8th

Putnam County officials have released this week's update on Covid-19 in Putnam County with a new format that provides more information on monitoring the reported cases. All information provided is as of April 8th. 2021

There are now 200 Active cases in isolation throughout Putnam County with 6 of those cases Quarantined/Isolated in Putnam County Hospital. There has been 1 new death reported since April 4th bringing the total of deaths in Putnam County attributed to Covid-19 to 91 (Source: NYSDOH Covid-19 Tracker as of April 8th.).

25,366 of County residents have now completed 1 form of a vaccine series either the 1 shot Johnson & Johnson or the 2 shot Moderna or Pfizer vaccine which represents 25.65% of County residents.

Putnam County has now tested 199,342 persons with 9,319 testing positive since the onset of the pandemic 13 months ago. The County's 7 day rolling average positivity rate now stands at 4.7%. which a reduction of 1.2% from last weeks average of 5.9%
