Three people in Putnam County were arrested on animal cruelty charges after their dog and 2 cats were allegedly found without food and living in filthy, hoarding conditions.
SPCA officials charged 57-year-old Tara Wuchter, 61-year-old Dennis Wuchter and 24-year-old Kyle Wuchter with failure to provide sustenance and 3 counts each of animal cruelty. Officials say the pets were seized from the family’s home on Joes Hill Road in the Town of Southeast and taken to Guardian Veterinary Specialists in Southeast until foster care can be found.
The Wuchter’s will be arraigned in Town of Southeast Court today, August 12th.
