Carmel High School senior Ryan Doherty has been recognized as a 2022 Regeneron Science Talent Search Scholar. Only 300 young scientists out of 1,804 applications were selected for this prestigious honor.
The Regeneron Science Talent Search is the nation's oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors. Ryan was chosen for his submitted project: "The Effects of Race and Other Social Determinants of Health on HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Use: A County-Level Analysis Using the PrEP-to-Need Ratio."
The top 40 finalists will be announced January 20.
