The Longview School (Brewster) Art Program is proud to present a student exhibition of artwork created this year. Not only does this provide our students an authentic learning experience of creating an art show together, but also allows for a celebration of all of their hard work this year. The large selection of work ranges from paintings and drawings to sculptures and ceramics. The show will be hosted by Arts on the Lake in Carmel Hamlet, at 5pm on Wednesday May 18th, and then will be on display for 2 weeks.
Longview School will also be hosting a Yoga/Art class that is open to the public and all ages, called "Paint and Flow," taught by teachers Laura Leigh and Jessica Espeut, on Wednesday June 1st from 6:30-8pm. This is a class rooted in creative movement therapy, and incorporates a beginner yoga class with a simple guided painting lesson. All art materials will be provided, but please bring your own yoga mat. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased by emailing Laura at lauralanchantin@gmail.com
