Free Brewster Concert Series Begins Saturday, June 11, 2022!

The Town of Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition (TOSCAC) is thrilled to announce the FREE Brewster Summer Music Series kicks off this Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 6 pm in the Veterans Park Gazebo! "We have all been patiently waiting for a return of live music," said Judy Marano, President of the Coalition. "I can think of no better way to spend time with family and friends."

The first to perform in the 7-week series is Fairfield County band Light Warriors! Band leader Erik Rabasca promises that there will be no breaks this Saturday night … simply 2 hours of Global Rock, Funk and Reggae-style music. Light Warriors is an original band and will also be covering some of your favorites. If you have any “Bob Marley style” requests, please send them this week to jacque@wbutterfly.net to pass along.

Attendees are invited to enjoy the FREE, 2-hour concert with their friends and family.  Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, bug spray and a picnic meal to the Railroad and Morningthorpe Avenues location, near the Brewster train station.

For your convenience, don’t worry about fixing dinner!  A delivery table will be set up on the Electrazone field for advance food orders, provided by Exclusive Catering Sponsor, Country Kitchen of Brewster. You can select your meal from the extensive online menu, and call in your order, by noon the day of the concert at (845) 279-8646. Be sure to indicate that you will be at the Brewster Summer Music Series and make payment with credit or debit card. Please take note, should weather cause a cancellation, food will still be prepared, and customers can pick up dinner at the restaurant’s location.

The energetic duo, Katy Faivre and Jacque Roche, are the event’s co-chairs and wish to extend a special thank you to the many community-minded businesses that supported the Coalition’s efforts as well.  “We could not have put on this series without the support of our generous sponsors, and are extremely grateful for their confidence in us and the project. We encourage everyone to please consider supporting these businesses,” Faivre exclaimes. “Our project is made possible, in part, through an Arts Alive Recovery NY Grant administered through the Arts Link Program of the Putnam Arts Council, supported with public funds from the NYS Council on Arts, with support from the Governor’s Office and the NYS Legislature. Katy and I are especially grateful to TOSCAC for presenting and hosting this event along with the many volunteers who are supporting the effort,” Roche continued.
