Local media, veterans, elected officials, patriots and volunteers are invited to attend a grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new Hudson Valley Honor Flight headquarters. A brief ceremony will be followed by tours, refreshments and a wine tasting from Magnanini Winery of Wallkill, NY. Free parking is available at Walden Savings Bank located directly across the street.

Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 11 a.m. - 1:00 p.m at their new facility located at 40-42 Main Street in Walden, NY.

Hudson Valley Honor Flight (HVHF) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization which “Honors American Veterans” for all their sacrifices. We transport these heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials at no cost to them.

We are a local hub of the National Honor Flight Network (which consists of over 100 independent non-profit “hubs” across America).

Hudson Valley Honor Flight flies multiple times a year out of Stewart International Airport & Westchester County Airport. HVHF serves veterans from the following counties: Orange (NY), Ulster (NY), Dutchess (NY), Westchester (NY), Rockland (NY), Sullivan (NY), Putnam (NY), Pike (PA), Bergen (NJ), and Fairfield (CT). Veterans from other surrounding counties will be considered as well.

Top priority is given to those of the Greatest Generation, that of World War II, and terminally ill veterans from other wars. We plan to take ALL veterans from other wars on future flights.
