SENIOR CITIZEN DROP-IN MEETINGS
Meetings are held every Wednesday from 10am - 2pm at the Mahopac Firehouse on Route 6 in Mahopac from September through June. The Drop-In is open to all senior citizens (60 years and older) in the Town of Carmel (Carmel, Mahopac, Mahopac Falls). The meetings consist of arts and crafts, bingo, general socializing with occasional guest speakers. The group also has many picnics, outings, trips and programs throughout the year. Registration for Town trips are taken at the weekly Drop-In Meetings. A schedule of the trips, picnics, registration dates and other important information is given out only at the weekly meetings. All trips depart and return from the Mahopac Fire Department on Route 6 in Mahopac. Trips are for Senior Citizens who are current residents of Carmel/Mahopac.
