Open Call to Artists for September Exhibition in Mahopac

2019 Open Call to artists 18 + for all media for a September Theme Show

Exhibit dates: September 7 – 22, 2019
Opening Reception Saturday, September 7, 3-5pm
Gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday, 12:30-3:30 or by appointment.
Special, surprise event on Sunday, September 22 from 2-4.  Stay tuned for details!

Exhibit Specifications:  Open to original fine art in all media, created within the past three years and not previously exhibited in the A. Eric Arctander Gallery at the Putnam Art Council. All work must be finished and completely dried.  2D work cannot exceed a maximum measurement of 36” and must be suitably framed, preferably wired and ready to hang.  3-D work must be manageable by one person.

Hand delivery of artwork to the Putnam Arts Council, 521 Kennicut Hill Road, Mahopac:  
Sunday, August, 25th 2:00-5:00pm or Wednesday, August 28th from 1pm to 5pm.  Submission forms will be provided to artists at the drop off or are available by request to info@putnamartscouncil.com

bmission fee per artist for up to 2 entries: PAC members $25.00; non-members $30.

The Putnam Arts Council is a non-profit cultural organization chartered by the NYS Dept. of Education in 1963 for educational and
museum purposes.  The Council presents, supports, promotes and funds quality arts programs and activities at its site in Mahopac as well
as by providing grants to other arts & cultural organizations and presenters throughout Putnam County, and is a voice for the arts
in community planning. Support the arts in your own backyard by attending events, joining the organization and/or volunteering.  
Programs of the Putnam Arts Council receive support from Putnam County and the NYS Council on the Arts with support from Gov.
Andrew M. Cuomo and the NYS Legislature.  Additional revenue is generated by the Putnam Arts Council.
