Reed Library extends materials due date to June 30th

Zoom Spring Storytimes extended through June as well
As New York State slowly reopens, the staff at the Reed Memorial Library is working hard to make sure library services will be provided in a way that is safe for library users and library staff. Information that guides their decisions changes often (sometimes hourly!) and transition to full service will not be linear and may take some time. New safety requirements and future health directives will evolve, influencing how library services are offered. We will keep you up-to-date as their plans develop.

"Public libraries have always been about community. We miss having our doors open to you, but the safety and health of our community is paramount.  For now, please keep enjoying our on-line classes, storytimes and digital resources and we hope to see you soon!" The staff said in an email to patrons.

Reminder: Continue to hold on to library materials until we reopen. All due dates have now been extended to June 30 so no worries, no fines will be accrued.

The Reed library also announced that their popular program "Zoom Spring Storytime" held virtually on Tuesdays has been extended through June 24th. These storytimes are online only and require you to use Zoom.

Registration is also required. Visit carmellibrary.org/calender to register.

Registered participants will receive an email prior to the program with Zoom instructions and a link to the program.
