Putnam County has announced that Veterans Memorial Park on Gipsy Trail Road in Kent is now open. The park opened on Saturday May 30th. Park hours are 10:00 am till 7:30 pm. Parking is limited to 50 cars at one time and is not allowing any groups outside of individual household/ family units. New special Covid-19 rules and regulations are in place as well as extra seasonal staff trained to enforce restrictions such as social distancing and face masks. Special regulations have been properly posted throughout the Park to remind guests of the heightened restrictions.
Unfortunately, the playground, exercise equipment and large group pavilion are currently closed, and all group sports are prohibited.
