Pied Piper Youth Theater Offers Three Musicals for kids of all ages

JOIN US! Pied Piper Youth Theater will be holding auditions for Pippin on Sunday September 23nd from 2-5pm. Kirsten Sweeney, a New York City casting agent and former PPYT student, will direct this Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) classic. Daphne Sasson, who received an NYA award nomination for outstanding musical direction for our spring production of Rent, will return as musical director, and Jennifer Jonas, multiple Metro-award nominated regional choreographer will incorporate Fosse- inspired dance. 
 
 
 
FEED ME! Pied Piper Youth Theater will produce Alan Menken’s Little Shop of Horrors this fall. There are 3 casts to choose from: Wednesdays 4:30- 6:30, Thursdays 4:30- 6:30 for middle school-aged actors, and Fridays, 5-7pm for combined middle school/ high school students. Workshops begin the week of September 26th and performances are January 11, 12 and 13. Our director, Christine DiTota, is a local resident and accomplished professional actor and director.  Christine directed "13 the Musical" for PPYT, as well as a number of acclaimed shows all over Westchester and Connecticut. YOU’RE NEVER FULLY DRESSED WITHOUT A SMILE! Pied Piper Youth Theater is happy to offer two separate casts of Annie, Kids! Choose Mondays or Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 to participate in our multi-age inclusive workshop, directed by Carolyn Nielsen, artistic director of PPYT and early childhood educator. Learn basic theater skills through games, age-appropriate theater exercises, and the experience of putting together a show! Performances are November 30, December 1 and 2 (specific show times TBA).
