Popeye's parent company, Royal Properties, Inc., they have signed a long-term lease for a 2,930 square foot freestanding building with a drive-thru at Carmel ShopRite Plaza, 186 Rte. 52 also known as Gleneida Ave. The Carmel ShopRite Plaza is a shopping center of over 100,000 square feet with a mix of national and local tenants.
Popeyes will join ShopRite Supermarket, Cinema 8, Rite Aid, Health Quest and more.
Carmel Town Supervisor posted on his Facebook page last week “Popeyes is coming to Carmel. Further Details to Follow.” and has received over 50 comments to date.
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is a fast food chain that serves a menu loaded with fried chicken items including family chicken meals.
The location is the former M&T bank building in the shopping center and no opening date has been announced.
