For the first time New York State will have early voting for the 2019 General Election.
Governor Cuomo signed legislation earlier this year, which made New York State the 39th
state to provide early voting. The law will allow a registered voter an additional nine (9)
days in which to cast their vote.
The sole early voting polling location for Putnam
County is:
Putnam County Board of Elections
25 Old Route 6
Carmel, NY 10512
If you are a registered voter in Putnam County, you can vote during the early voting dates

again on Election Day. The results from early voting will be canvassed and reported after
9 PM on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. For more information regarding early voting or

As Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the
right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this
is by not voting.”
