Maloney Encourages New Yorkers to Get Covered During Open Enrollment

Ahead of the Open Enrollment Period beginning Sunday, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) is encouraging individuals and families in the Hudson Valley to take advantage of the Open Enrollment period for the health care marketplace. During this time, New Yorkers can get health care coverage or make changes to their current insurance plan for the upcoming year by visiting www.healthcare.gov.

Open Enrollment for the upcoming year begins Sunday, November 1, and ends Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

“This pandemic isn’t over, and folks need access to quality, affordable health care right now. During the Open Enrollment period, I encourage everyone who needs care in the Hudson Valley to check out healthcare.gov or get in touch with my office for help navigating the Marketplace. Now is the perfect time to sign up and get covered for the upcoming year,” said Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney.

New Yorkers can sign up to get covered or make changes to their plans by visiting healthcare.gov or by calling 1-800-318-2596. Rep. Maloney’s talented caseworkers can also help individuals and families in the Hudson Valley navigate the Open Enrollment Period or connect them to a Marketplace-registered agent (Navigator) in a community near them.
