Assemblyman Kevin Byrne (R,C,I,SAM,ROS-Mahopac) is pleased to announce the launch of his 2021 Trailblazing with Byrne constituent meetings. These events are similar to the Assemblyman’s Coffee with Kevin discussions where constituents have traditionally met with Byrne for an informative discussion to chat about various issues and concerns. During Trailblazing with Byrne, constituents are invited to not only discuss issues, thoughts and concerns with Byrne, but are invited to join the Assemblyman for a healthy walk outdoors on local trails offered within the 94th Assembly District.
“Speaking with constituents about issues on both a state and local level is one of the most important parts of my job,” said Byrne. “Doing so allows me to better understand how I can serve our district and the people whom I represent. Originally, I started Trailblazing with Byrne in 2019 to only discuss issues with constituents, encourage healthy living and offer an opportunity for us all to enjoy the natural beauty our Hudson Valley provides. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, this type of event provides even more benefits as it also allows us to more predictably and safely adhere to the list of ever-changing pandemic restrictions.”
Byrne plans to host one of these events in each of the towns he represents to give every constituent a chance to meet with him and discuss the issues. Byrne will also be available both in-person and virtually for an informal Coffee with Kevin discussion an hour prior to the start of each Trailblazing with Byrne walk for additional conversation for those unable to walk. The Coffee with Kevin discussion will be streamed live online for those unable to attend in person. For anyone planning to attend in-person, all current pandemic rules and restrictions from federal, state and local government must be respected.
As always, any constituent seeking to meet or speak with Byrne or a representative from his office is encouraged to contact his district office at (845) 278-2923 or by visiting nyassembly.gov/byrne.
