
ANNUAL BUDGET VOTE AND BOARD OF EDUCATION ELECTIONS: MAY 16
The Annual Budget Vote and Board of Education elections will take place on May 16, 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. at three polling locations throughout the district. Detailed information regarding the proposed budget, budget development process and all presentation documents are available in the Budgets & Audits web section.
A print budget newsletter with information on the proposed budget was also mailed to all residential households in the district by USPS in accordance with New York State law. The newsletters should arrive in mailboxes over the next few days. An electronic copy of the printed newsletter is available on our website. We apologize in advance that due to a designer error, there is an incorrect figure listed on page 2 of the print version of the newsletter that was mailed to residents. The electronic version of the newsletter was amended and is correct on our website. Information on Board of Education candidates, voter registration, absentee ballots and polling locations is also available on our website.
- Absentee Ballots: An application for an absentee ballot is available on our Budgets & Audits web section or by contacting Joanne Stevens, district clerk, at 845-878-2094, ext. 201, or jstevens@carmelschools.org. The application must be received by the District Clerk by May 15 (in-person). Completed ballots must be received at the CCSD Administrative Office (81 South Street, P.O. Box 296, Patterson) by 5 p.m. on May 16.
