Carmel's Knights of Columbus Council Hall designated as Comfort Station.

The Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Lakes, Council #6318 Council hall on Fair Street has been designated as a comfort station in the aftermath of Tropical storm Iasias. County residents can go to the hall located at 10 Fair Street in Carmel, charge their devices, access the internet through their wi-fi connection or just relax in air conditioned comfort.

The Council hall will be open from 11 am until 4 pm today.

Masks and hand sanitizer will provided by Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services (BOES). Wet ice and bottled water is available on site according to Putnam County BOES Commissioner Ken Clair, Jr. Dry ice may be obtained at the Paladin Center located at 39 Seminary Hill Rd in Carmel, while supplies last.
