NYC Man arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in Southeast

On September 25, 2020, the New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Mark A. Piscitelli, age 41, of New York, NY, for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree, a class A felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with intent to sell, a class B felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree, a class C felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Piscitelli on Interstate 684 for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation discovered Piscitelli was in possession of approximately 12.9 grams of Ketamine, 2.5 grams of Ecstasy (MDMA), 6.32 ounces of Gamma Hydroxybutyrate, and 41.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine. 

Piscitelli was arraigned before the town Kent court, and remanded to the Putnam County Jail.  He is next scheduled to appear before the court on September 30, 2020, at 10:00 a.m.
