Putnam Valley man Arrested on Southeast/Carmel Border for Drug Possession

On January 20, 2021, at approximately 8:40 a.m., in the vicinity of Route 6 and Simpson Road in the Town of Carmel, Deputy Shane Rossiter pulled over a 2008 Dodge Charger for an expired inspection.


Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver, Todd Carmody, age 39, was in possession of alleged Cocaine, Suboxone, and Marihuana. Mr. Carmody was charged with 2 misdemeanor counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. He was also issued a summons for an Uninspected Vehicle.

Mr. Carmody was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Southeast Court on February 26, 2021 at 6PM and released.
