The CDC and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) have now authorized boosters for all three COVID-19 vaccines—Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. The CDC announcement on Thursday, October 21, also allows those eligible to choose which vaccine they wish to receive in what is being referred to as “mix and match” dosing, depending on availability. The Putnam County Department of Health has scheduled a booster clinic for this Thursday, October 28, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Philipstown Recreation Center in Garrison. Only Moderna and Pfizer vaccine boosters will be available. For more info or to register: https://www.putnamcountyny.com/health/covid19/#vaxinfo
