The grand opening of Shuppee is tomorrow, April 5th at 1:00. The new shop is located at 144 King St. in Chappaqua. Shuppee means "good". The owner, Addy Dolgetta, stated, "our company became a reality when my 1 year old son, Jojo, introduced the word "Shuppee" to us as a way of communicating when something he was eating tasted good."
The new shop will carry accessories such as jewelry, handbags and some makeup. Their collection of unique gifts for women ranges from authentic Italian leather handbags to sterling silver cubic zirconia jewelry from around the world. The pieces come in all types of finishes and nearly every type of stone, crystal and jewel imaginable can be found in our collection. Each piece of jewelry is unique but all the pieces are competitively priced and are designed to be worn for any occasion.
Addy said, "as a mother and wife I know how stressful it can be to look fashionable on an everyday basis while trying to get everyone ready in the morning for school and work." Being in retail for over 26 years, she decided to combine her son's unknown marketing skills with her degree in business and create a reality that is dedicated to bringing fashionable and quality designs to women. Shuppee will prove to be a fabulous new addition to our town! I can't wait to go check it out tomorrow afternoon.
